I’ve roasted my own coffee beans, how do I tell they’re ready?
I’ve got a coffee roaster and have roasted some coffee beans, they are mostly dark with a bit of lighter colour …How can I tell whether they’re roasted properly or not?
How long you roast them for depends on the strength of coffee you want. If you want a really deep, bold coffee, let them roast until they’re very dark, almost black. As they are now, you’ll have more of a breakfast blend/mild coffee. You can always make the coffee a little stronger or weaker changing the coffee to water ratio.
Delonghi Caffe Sorrento Espresso Machine does anyone know how to use the steamer i can make the coffee but
having trouble with the steamer it has the nozzle and warms up but doesn’t do anything else i don’t have the directions
I have a DeLonghi Magnifica 3300 machine, so maybe it’s similar:) ..
Make your coffee as usual.
1) Fill a metal container with about 3.5 oz. of cold milk
2) Move the milk frother to the outside of the machine
3) Press the steam function button. It will start flashing to indicate that it’s heating up
4) When the light remains on steadiy, the temperature is ready to steam…immediately (within no more than 2 min – or it will switch back), put the tip of the frother into the container of milk.
5) Turn the steam control dial half-turn clockwise until it stops. The steam released will make the milk froth increase in volume.
6) when it stops, put the the steam control dial back where it was…
