Suggestions for brands of coffee makers and bean grinder???
Good Morning,Ya’ll,my DH and I are looking to purchase a new coffee maker and grinder for Christmas for our home. We were looking at purchasing a combo in the Cuisinart Grind & Brew model with a stainless thermal carafe. Does anyone own this type model or give us any suggestions on coffee markers with a bean grinder or an outstanding single coffee marker that has a stainless carafe and a separate brand of bean grinder? One of my main issues with the combo model would be clugging up and cleaning. Thanks any suggestions and Merry Christmas Ya’ll!!!!
PS-We have had Bunn, Mr. Coffee,KitchenAid brand coffee makers:( and our bean grinder is KitchenAid:(
Those combo rigs are really tough to clean, oil from the beans gets all up in there and it’s almost impossible to keep it clean with out constantly running vinegar through it. Rancid coffee oil ruins your coffee and then you get all angry for spending so much on something that only really brewed decent coffee for a month or 2.
I would suggest:
A capresso or braun grinder
A Chemex glass gravity brewer (all glass and a breeze to keep clean) –

A thermal carafe for pouring your coffee into after you’re done with the brewing process

What is the best “grind and brew” automatic coffee maker?
I’m looking for an automatic “Grind and Brew” coffee maker with a timer. This type of coffee maker automatically grinds whole beans and brews the coffee for you based on timer settings. There are a few on the market from Cuisinart and Capresso, but not many reviews out there. Can anyone either recommend one or warn me about ones that don’t work very well?
I have a Cuisinart Automatic Grind & Brew Thermal and it works quite well for me. I add the water and place the beans in the grinder and program it to go off right b4 I get up. It shuts off with 5 beeps when the coffee is finished and stays hot to warm for a few hours.
The only thing is that, sometimes, I have to use the grinder twice to make sure all of the beans are ground down (I guess I like a STRONG cup of coffee).
I found the coffee maker a liquidator shop and paid $77 for it.
where can i find replacement parts for coffee machines? (krups dolce gusto)?
there are parts of my coffee machine that have gone missing, and i need replacements, but i don’t know where to find them! help please
here is the pic of it
we are missing the silver bit at the bottom, the black bit that’s underneath and a part where you can just get hot water through.
thanks
I think you should just type the brand of ur coffee machine on google search…to find some solutions…and if that doesn’t work..go and get a new one..usually…there are less chances of getting spare parts of coffee machines and stuff…but you better first try typing the brand on google…
What is the best way to cook a pot roast in an electric roaster oven?
brown the meat in a little fat first if you can but if all you have to cook in is the oven (roaster) then you will put the meat in a pan and cut your veggies into 1 inch piece sand to the meat add the veggies and cover with beef stock about 1 inch above everything…cover with foil ….and cook until meat is tender…now if it is a different oven as the one where you put the meat directly in the pan of the oven do the same thing except use the oven lid and cook 350 until meat and veggies are tender….cooking a pot roast is a moist heat cooking method so that is like cooking soups stew and pot roast….cooking in liquid….
