Coffee roasting machine

Coffee roasting machine
who makes a very low priced high quality coffee machine for ground roast coffee? braun, phillips,?

black & decker, mr. coffee, ect…. can anyone please tell me. rsvp. thanks.

The link shows the one I use. It’s a manual drip, meaning you heat up water in a kettle & pour it over the coffee grounds. It actually is better than any machine for several reasons:
1) Water needs to be almost boiling & machines never get that hot.
2) Being funnel shaped, you can make a partial pot (machines need a full pot or they ruin it)
3) No moving parts to fail
4) Easy to clean

The “handle” is just wood tied on with leather. I read a review once where the leather wore out on the guy & he just used a shoe lace so:
5) Easy to “repair” unless you drop it

Plus, they are pretty cheap. If you don’t drop it & keep it 20 years, $40-60 is very good.

Coffee downtown
I am a student attending Brooklyn College in the Spring. New to town, local hang-outs/coffee shops, etc?

Hello,

I will be attending Brooklyn College this Spring. It is in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. I will be new to town and was wondering if anyone knew of any local coffee shops/stores/hangouts around town. Or if I were to go to downtown Brooklyn, where I should go there. Thanks.

Best decaf

Best decaf
The best Decaf Kona coffee you’ve ever had?

I tried recently pure Kona coffee recently and actually like i a lot. Only since I like to drink coffee more than once a day sometimes, I want to have the option of decaf.

So, I would like other people’s opinions…

1 What is the best Decaf Kona coffee you’ve tasted? (100percent Kona)

2 If I like mild coffee, how much ground coffee per 6 ounce of water should I use?

3 Where can I buy it other than online? Do grocery stores carry it?

1 I don’t drink decaf, it kinda defeats the purpose.

2 Most coffees recommend 1 Tablespoon per cup, that’s pretty strong coffee, try about 1/2 that and see how you like it.

3 Any large grocery store or market should have Kona coffee, Walmarts in my eastern NM and west Texas have it.
